Pp Membrane Filter Plates
- Material: Plates are generally made from Polypropylene (PP), Stainless Steel (SS), Cast Iron (CI) or Phosphor Bronze (PB) and choice depends on application.
- Shape: The filter plates are generally of square shape. But round plates are also available for special applications.
- Filtration surface: The filtration surfaces in the PP plates are made of round cylindrical buttons generally known as Pips. In CI or other metallic plates, it is made of grooves either straight or diamond shaped. In PB plates, the filtration surface is made of circular grooves connected by straight grooves.

- Types of Plates: Two types of plates are available. Plate & Frame type & Recessed type. These plates shall have option for washing/ Non- washing, closed/open discharge provisions.
- Sealing: Sealing the leakage between filter plate and the filter cloth is normally done by using check ring and rubber gromet. Check ring is made from materials like gun metal, polypropylene or SS. Choice of material depends on its compatibility with the liquid handled. In case of Butterfly type filter cloth; this type of arrangement is not needed.
We also have zero leakage plate having O-ring sealing in the plates for special applications.
